Munich World Cup: Yeah yeah, I wanna be a rockstar!

Pretty much haven’t stopped smiling for the last 24hrs... what a day! Just back in the UK and it’s starting to sink in that I MADE A FINAL AT A WORLD CUP!!! And not only that, then shot pretty well in said final.
The Excited Dog has well and truly taken hold now. I’ve started sending update texts to my boyfriend in the form of Dog Diary entries... yesterday’s read:
1100 - I MADE THE FINAL! My favourite thing!!!
1230 - Shooting 100.2 in the final and finishing 6th. My favourite thing!
1900 - Having my new PB ratified as a British record. My favourite thing!
It’s all very exciting and I have to say the response has been fabulous! As I said to my Dad on the way to the Finals Hall, if one more person tells me ‘well done’ I might cry! Turned out I managed to hold it together and giggled my way through the final (laughter is a really good way to get rid of nerves). I also have to mention how much I felt like a rockstar when they played this as they called ‘shooters to the line’. I really enjoyed the experience and look forward to many more to come!
